This is a first version of com_rquote for 3.0.0. It has been tested on joomla version 3.0.3.
Please install on a localserver or backup  before installing .

 This is a general purpose component to store almost any information to your database.(Quotes, Jokes, Tips etc.)
Information can be entered in the back end and front end.
The information can be stylized and displayed many different ways.
 Your database will be updated. All your settings and items will remain the same. Backup just in case

This is a minor update to add automatic updates to all future versions. You can just install it with the joomla installer and it will over write the old version No need to uninstall the old one. Your database will be updated. All your settings and items will remain the same. Backup just in case something goes wrong.

This  release enables automatic upgrades.  Items can  be displayed  random ,daily, monthly, yearly and by date of the year(if no daily# for day of year a random item is displayed)  . Items can be controlled by CSS style sheet. Includes Both graphic and CSS quotation Marks. Items can now be displayed in any combination of daily,monthly yearly etc at same time(requires com 2.5.0 or higher to work properly).

A simple module to display quotes or information from a text file. The information can be displayed (rotated) randomly, daily, weekly, monthly or every hour or every minute. You can have as many files as you like, unlimited quotes in each and style them by administrator params or css file. If you need more options you can download rquotes component and module here also.
