How to set it up

Newbie here. I have installed the component. I have added one list quote as a trial. How do I do the modules bit? Is it an HTML module?

I have found the help file, thanks. I have set quote source to "text file" I have uploaded a new file to ...modules/mod_rquotes/mod_rquotes and selected it in the module. However it still uses the other text file. I have selected rotate quotes "daily".

Can you think what I may have missed out?

Even when I edit the default text file to include 31 quotes it still shows "This line will be displayed on the 23rd day of every mounth". Even when I try it on random it just shows a different random day of the "mounth". Am I editing the wrong text file?

Hi Again
Is your new text file name appearing as a selection in the module? If so you have it in the correct directory.
Make sure you select it and save the changes. Make sure all the options are set correctly.

I suggest you start from scratch and try again.
There are (2) files included in the module. try them both.
Upload one of your own and try it. Each line in the file will appear as a quote

I re-installed and now it's all working fine!

Great module - I'll post a comment on Joomla extensions.
