Hi, I have an update to above point (c) Re: text not showing smaller - I've finally been able to reduce the size of the text by choosing the smallest size possible (8pt) - the 10 pt doesn't make any difference but the 8 works....not sure if its just a problem on my system / setup (Yootheme template...), but anyway it's working & so I hope this information helps anyone else with the same problem. Cheers, KB.

Hi, first let me start by saying what a great product RQuotes is, and so much more useful than just merely for random quotes too (we also use it for rotating our "BIS Tips" - random tips, but I can see it having many more uses, including random testimonials, featuring random downloads, random product/product of the day etc etc.). Simply brilliant and seems to be solid too.
Now for the wish-list!!....
- The component displaying all the random quotes option - I agree with another post in this forum that a plugin would be great/better, as it would give much more flexibility, however if not then there are a few minor problems with using the alternative option (component page):
(a) The text description - I cannot use it at all as the text it displays is gigantic (H1) text, & the same size as the page header text.......This is a problem for us as I need to be able to suggest that readers can submit their tips & provide details of where to submit them (I've had to put it into a module at the top of the page instead for now, which prevents me placing a banner ad there). There appears to be no way of adjusting the CSS either (I found a CSS file but it didn't appear to have this in it)
(b) The component page has no pagination.....I only have 6 tips displayed so far (& only 4 lines of text each), but already the page is getting very long....
(c) Text sizes don't seem to work: Not as important as the other points above but I've noticed that if I make the text smaller (I'm using the component database files option, not text files) it makes no difference - text still displays same size.
And lastly, this has nothing to do with the component but your registration - if possible could you please change my username for me!! please, as I seem to be unable to change it - I assumed the "nickname" would be the name which was visible, not my full name -( might I suggest it might be helpful to insert some hints or some information on your sign-up process? ) - Cheers
Thanks again for the wonderful program.
Kind regards.
